Senior Scientist, Molecular and Cellular Pharmacology
We are seeking a Senior Scientist with extensive experience in molecular and cellular pharmacology and immunology to be responsible for investigating the molecular mechanism of action for resolvins and related molecules, including studying and identifying the potential receptors that resolvins interact with, including G-protein-coupled-receptors (GPCRs), and establishing relevant cell-based assays.
This position requires a Ph.D. or equivalent in immunology, cell biology, biochemistry or a related field, and at least 4-6 years experience in GPCR and receptor pharmacology in the immunology and inflammation area. Expertise in inflammation resolution biology and endogenous lipids such as eicosanoids are highly desired. Must be self-motivated, energetic, creative, and strategic-thinking. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required. Best for someone who has an entrepreneurial spirit and enjoys the challenge of working in a team-oriented and multi-tasking environment. Experience working for biotech and/or pharmaceutical companies is strongly desired but not absolutely required.
